[FIXED] Latest Carbide Motion is busted for Win x64

There's a new Carbide Motion release out. It errors out when installing on at least Win 8.1 64-bit:

Just emailed support@carbide3d.com, so hopefully they'll get this fixed promptly. In the meantime, if you're running 64-bit Windows, it's probably better to stick to the old version for now.

This just happened to me last night... I can no longer install CM on my W10 x64 machine. I downloaded the previous version (V1) but it won't work with Shapeoko 3..

Is there a copy of the pre updated V2 available?

Everything about the install worked for me except for updating the driver. I'm on Windows 10 x64.

When I try to install the driver from C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbide\driver\carbide.inf, I get an error message saying "The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering". Hope this helps debugging the issue.

Carbide 3D just emailed to say the issue should be fixed, so try downloading it again now.

Testing here on Win 8.1 x64, and the installation worked this time all the way through. :)
