If I have all three motors connected and all are laying on the table and the shaft points upwards what would be correct a clockwise or counter clockwise rotation after I enter g0z100x100y100? And would it make a difference if I swap the position of x y z?

If the motors are laying on the table, shafts pointing towards the ceiling, the correct orientation should be:

Y = Counterclockwise
X = Clockwise
Z = Clockwise

If we explain it 1 axis at a time:

g0X100: Tells the X axis motor to go 100mm. 100 positive mm on the X/Y system would move the carriage to the right (if looking at the machine from the front)

g0 y100: Tell the Y axis motor to go 100mm. 100 positive mm in the X/Y system would move the gantry *away* from you (if looking at the machine from the front). This is assuming your motor is mounted on the right side of the gantry (again, if looking at the machine from the front)

g0 z100: tell the Z axis motor to go 100mm in the positive direction. This moves the Z axis up toward the ceiling (raises the z-axis away from the work surface)
