End mills (group)

Ok im talking to the guy i order end mills from and he is willing to give a (pack) discount.

I know there is already as topic on this but it never went through. So i sent my guy this list: (just now)

2x 0.80mm (.0315"), 2 flute, 0.120" cutting depth
2x 1.50mm (.0591"), 2 flute, 0.250" cutting depth
2x 2.40mm (.0945"), 2 flute, 0.390" cutting depth
2x 3.00mm (.1181"), 2 flute, 0.500" cutting depth

The below are engraving bits
1x 30 Degree
1x 60 Degree
or
1x 82 degree, 2 flute, .012" tip engraving bit (if available)
1x 90 degree, 2 flute, .012" tip engraving bit (if available)

Which seems to be the choices from the other topic.

It would be helpful if you can put together a list of what you need in the kit, quantities of each included so that I can piece it together and price it out for you.

I might be interested as well, what is the shank diameter?
Can I assume these are for milling metal rather than wood bits?

My ShapeOko is still sitting in its delivery box ... but i did pick up a Harbor Freight cutout tool this week,
on sale now for ~ $25.00 U.S Looks much like the Yellow Dewalt.
Has a 2.6 inch diameter for about 3 inches of its length and also has a mounting collar that's ~ 1-3/4 Inch Diameter.
28,000 RPM and has 1/8 and 1/4 " collets.

Saw a good idea for mounting the cutout tool using 2x 2-1/2" Pipe hanger clamp's and possibly a 1-3/4 inch if available:

Thats 10 bits for under $40! You cant go wrong, I use his bits right now and they are awesome!

Also just did my case for the Raspberry PI.. thought id mention it since i used his bits for this.

Amazing how much better the case looks in clear plastic.

I looked at the ebay posting, bits look good and my question on cutting metals was also answered, not that I like the idea of using fluids ...

These tools are built for cutting FR4 and plastics, but should be strong enough to cut aluminum, copper, and brass under fluid. The tools have a plastic ring for ease in identification and depth control.

So i guess we are waiting on his callback on such things as minimum group size, shipping and of course cost ...

Also a question on the AtomCNC board, did you consider the Atmega 644P, has 64K eprom to handle future code growth, and way more I/O pins.
possibly add a Arduino compatible shield headder array and add (future) support for LCD's or a jogger control box

Ya, I know its probably to late to mod the AtomCNC, but for Rev2
